Is Arsenal a Bonus Game?
- brand new manager
- lots of new players without prem experience
- team spiralling out of control since the turn of the year
- playing one of the biggest teams in Europe

Personally I've never been a fan of bonus games but I hope that those still agrieved by the departure of the oaf will afford the man they hope will fail the same liberties their hero took?

I know, I know , blatantly never happened and nobody was a fan of bfs.

No bonus games this season. Having got shot of the only thing holding us back apparently we can now move to the next level. To do that and to finish top 6 we have to compete with last years 3rd.

I too have to take issue with ioc's remark.

WHO is EXTREMELY important. Everything I know about life and the world I have learned on WHO, including the facts that there are good and bad versions of AIDS, Kelly Brook is ugly, and seals are really dog mermaids. I'm still not sure if the MOBOs are racist, though.

It's moments like this that make WHO important. Bravo old girl.

Ps no Vietnamese artist has won a MOBO ergo racist!

Enjoy your time on here or don't but fool yourself into thinking it is really that important.

Define 'important'.

Yes it definetely is. Surely only BFS would have been arrogant enough to think otherwise.
If we get a draw i'd be happy. I have a horrible feeling about this season. I sincerely hope its unfounded.

Just to nail that one, I was a fan of BFS felt his time was up and he did the job not in the style I would have preferred, but he did it.
Time to move on we have a new manager and a boat load of new players

Bonus for Arsenal maybe.? They always seem to struggle on opening day. Us. We can't find the net against a bunch of part-timers. So I'm not holding out much hope against one of the big four away.!

It's ALWAYS a bonus game, the difference is that this time we will be trying.

Re: Is Arsenal a Bonus Game?
I guess for the me the "-ites" is where this really falls apart.

The overwhelming majority of people on this board want West Ham to win and be successful. We disagree a lot about how to do that.

But to force groups on people in some quasi tribal way is the sign of someone who wants to making things on here a lot more important than they are. Thus making the time wasted on here more than that and "victories" and "defeats" between posters mean something.

Enjoy your time on here or don't but fool yourself into thinking it is really that important.

Re: Is Arsenal a Bonus Game?
I thought that teams in the qualifying stages of the Europa league often start the season strongly due to rhe serious run up, but end it weakly due to the amount of games played. Add to that, early games often produce much stranger results than a mid table team beating a 4th place one. Either way, as has been said, we should always be out to win especially now the negative man has gone.

Re: Is Arsenal a Bonus Game?
"Allardyciples" is something that took him a few years to come up with Rios. Shame for him, that he thought of it so late in the day.

Hope that Bilic approaches every game as winnable ones, I think he will.

Nicey, if you look back at some of the quotes coming out of the club in respect of up and coming games against the top 4 etc, who within the club has 'written off' the most of those games?

clue - it wasn't Sam Allardyce.
